Raghupathi Venkaiah Award
It is Telugu cinema’s highest award. It is given for lifetime achievements and contributions to the Telugu film industry. This prestigious award was incorporated by the State Government in 1981 in honor of Raghupathi Venkaiah Naidu, a pioneer of Indian film industry. A Golden Nandi, a Gold medal, citation and cash prize of ₹ 50,000 is presented to the winner at the state government’s Nandi Awards functions.
