* England’s captain Joe Root produced a courageous 180 not out, his 22nd century and 11th score of 150 or more, to help England reach 391 in their first innings and take a 27-run lead over India on the third day of the second Test at Lord’s on Saturday.
* Camila Giorgi of Italy will face Karolina Pliskova in the Montreal final.
* Lionel Messi gets a standing ovation from 49,000 PSG supporters after PSG defeats Strasbourg.
* Pace bowlers Kemar Roach and Jayden Seales grabbed key wickets to give West Indies the advantage, but Babar Azam’s 17th Test half-century helped Pakistan put up a strong fight on the third day of the first Test at Sabina Park.
