1-Y.S. Sharmila, the leader of the YSR Telangana Party, referred to Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao as the “Taliban” in a stinging attack on Sunday.

  • After being detained by the police in Mahabubabad and having her padyatra halted, Sharmila told reporters in Hyderabad that Telangana was Afghanistan of India and that KCR was its Taliban.

2-G. Sayanna, a lawmaker for the Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS), died on Sunday. He was 72.

6-Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao announced on Wednesday that his administration is prepared to set aside Rs 1,000 crore for the renovation and development of Kondagattu Anjaneya Swamy Temple, the most renowned and revered of all Hanuman shrines in the nation.

8-Consumer goods giant Hindustan Unilever Limited (HUL) on Wednesday unveiled the Junior Athlete Development Program (JADP), which would assist 50 aspiring women cricket players from Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, and Tamil Nadu.
