8-Leader of the YSR Telangana Party (YSRTP), Y.S Sharmila said that Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao had caused “a serious and dangerous power crisis” in the state.

10-The ruling YSR Congress party in Andhra Pradesh welcomed Justice Abdul Nazeer, a former Supreme Court justice, on his appointment as the new governor of the state on Sunday.

  • Justice Nazeer was congratulated by YSRCP Parliamentary Party leader V. Vijayasai Reddy.

11-Biswa Bhusan Harichandan, who was transferred to the Chhattisgarh Raj Bhavan, was replaced by Justice Nazeer.

12-In July 2019, Odisha-based senior BJP politician Harichandan was sworn in as governor. Following the division of Andhra Pradesh, he succeeded E.S.L. Narasimhan as governor of Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

13-The Supreme Court’s Constitution bench, which included Justice Nazeer, a Karnataka native, issued the ruling in the Ayodhya case.
