Central Government/ State Government- Latest Schemes
1-UDAN– It is ‘Ude Deshka Aam Naagrik’ RCS (regional connectivity scheme) that was launched in October 2016.
The Scheme, which is aimed to promote regional connectivity is a key component of the National Civil Aviation Policy (NCAP) that was released on June 15, 2016.
45 unserved and under-served airports will be connected under this scheme.
2-Rural Development Ministry will launch a new sub-scheme under the name of Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana – National Rural Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NRLM) which will be named as ‘AajeevikaGrameen Express Yojana (AGEY)‘
The main aims of AajeevikaGrameen Express Yojana(AGEY) are to provide an alternative source of livelihoods to Self Help Groups (SHGs) under National Rural Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NRLM)
3-Union Minister of State (Independent Charge) for Minority Affairs & Parliamentary Affairs Shri Mukhtar Abbas Naqvi has launched ‘Jiyo Parsi Publicity Phase-2’ in Mumbai.
The government aims at ‘inclusive growth’ and ‘Antyodaya’ so that prosperity, security, and dignity of the last person of the society can be ensured.
4-The Pradhan Mantri Vaya Vandana Yojana (PMVVY) is a pension scheme meant for senior citizens aged 60 years and above.
It can be purchased offline as well as online through Life Insurance Corporation of India.
An assured return of 8 per cent per annum payable monthly is provided by the scheme for 10 years. Service tax/GST is exempted.
5-Yuva Skill Development Initiative
The street children and unemployed youth in the Delhi city will be benefitted with this scheme as Delhi Police have enrolled the names of 2,229 youths, who will be provided a skill development training program.
