1-The former RBI Governor Raghuram Rajan wrote the book ‘I Do What I Do’.
The book explores about his experiences during his stint as Reserve Bank of India (RBI) governor.

2- The oldest cinematographer Ramananda Sengupta passes away at the age of 101 years in Kolkata.

3-A new species of Frog ‘Nasikabatrachus Bhupathi’, having a snout-shaped nose has been discovered by Indian scientists from the Centre for Cellular and Molecular Biology (CCMB) in Hyderabad.

14-The 2018 ITTF Team World Cup will be held at the iconic Copper Box Arena in London’s Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park from 22nd to 25th February in the next year. International Table Tennis Federation (ITTF) has made an announcement in this regard.
