- Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy requested Union Home Minister Amit Shah to take Tirupati as a potential location for a campus of the National Forensic Sciences University (NFSU).

2-Fighter aircraft from the Indian Air Force (IAF) successfully tested an emergency landing procedure at the site set up on the Chennai-Kolkata National Highway in the Andhra Pradesh district of Bapatla.
3-In a 45-minute period, four aircraft, including two fighter types, nearly touched down on the runway at Pichukalagudipadu hamlet, on National Highway 16, in the Korisapadu mandal.

4-To allow fighter aircraft to land safely in an emergency, an Emergency Landing Runway (ELR) measuring 4.1 km in length and 60 metres in width has been constructed on the roadway.
5-The Emergency Landing Runway (ELR) in Pichukalagudipadu village, Korisapadu mandal, was built at a cost of Rs 86 crore. It is the first ELR in South India and the third overall in India, behind those in Uttar Pradesh and Rajasthan.
6-The airstrip was built by the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) utilising cutting-edge German technology to resist huge loads and high pressure.

7-In 2018, the Center made the decision to build 19 airstrips along national highways in various states, allowing for the operation of planes in the event that emergency situations cause disruptions to roads or rail lines.
8-The Telugu Desam Party (TDP) would provide the next of kin of each of the eight people died in a stampede that occurred during a road show for its leader N. Chandrababu Naidu in Kandukur town an ex gratia payment of Rs. 24 lakh apiece.

11-During a road show by former chief minister and Telugu Desam Party (TDP) president N. Chandrababu Naidu in Kundukur town in the Nellore district, 8 people, including two women, perished in a stampede.
12- Police in Kundukur, Andhra Pradesh, have filed a charge under section 174 of the Code of Criminal Procedure in relation to the Wednesday night stampede that claimed the lives of eight people during the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) president N. Chandrababu Naidu’s public meeting.
