1-The nickname for North Dakota (ND) is Peace Garden State. It is also known as Flickertail State or Roughrider State. Its capital is Bismarck.

2-The nickname for Ohio (OH) is Buckeye State. Its capital is Columbus

3-The nickname for Idaho (ID) is Gem State. It is also called the Gem of the Mountains. Its capital is Boise.

4-The nickname for North Carolina (NC) is Old North State. It is also known as Tar Heel State. Its capital is Raleigh.

5-The nickname for Alabama (AL) is Yellowhammer State. It is also known as Heart of Dixie. Its capital is Montgomery.

15-Triangular patch of deposited silt at the mouth of a river formed by its diverging branches is delta.The largest delta is formed by the Ganga and Brahmaputra rivers in West Bengal (India) and Bangla Desh. It covers an area of 76800 km.

16-Narrow strip of land joining two larger land masses is isthmus.The Isthmus of Panama connects the continents of North America and South America.

17-Land jutting out into the sea is cape.Kanya Kumari (formerly Cape Comorin) in India, Cape of Good Hope in South Africa,  and Cape Kennedy (formerly Cape Canavarel) in USA are examples.
The Atlantic and Pacific Oceans meet at Cape Horn.

18-Group of islands found close together in the sea are archipelago.The Philippines in Asia is an archipelago. Lakshadweep Islands in the Arabian Sea and the Andaman & Nicobar Islands in the Bay of Bengal are other examples of archipelagos .
